The Mila Piano Trio has garnered acclaim for their engaging performances in some of the most distinguished venues in the United Kingdom and abroad. Since forming in 2015 at the Royal Academy of Music, the trio has debuted at St. John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields as finalists of the Chamber Music competition. The trio has been recognized with numerous awards, including first prize at Verao Classico in Lisbon, as well as prizes in the Isaacs and Pirani Competition and the RAM’s Historical Women prize.
The Mila Piano Trio is also deeply committed to music education. They have collaborated with Water City Music to provide workshops and concerts for students in Southwark and have worked in schools in London, Cotswolds, Winchester, and Romsey.
The trio studied with Adrian Brendel on the ChamberStudio programme at King’s Place. Prior to this they were mentored by Amandine Savary, Levon Chilingirian, Sun-Won Yang, Michael Bochman, and Felix Schmidt.
Recent season highlights include performances at the Buxton International Festival and the Islington Festival, as well as performing for music societies across the UK.
